Another summer has come and gone and with it, another successful Convenience Store Day. We would like to extend a major thank you to all the convenience stores who made our August 29 festivities possible by supporting the Children’s Wish Foundation and working together as an industry for a great cause.
We’d also like to say a special thanks to MPs, MPPs, Mayors, Premier Ford, Councillors and all the dedicated employees throughout Ontario who helped make the day special and for making wishes come true for the children.
Finally, we’d like to say a special thanks to the following companies as well: Circle K Ontario, Parkland Fuels, Pioneer, MacEwen, McDougall Fuels, Little Short Stop Stores, Quickie Convenience Stores, Gateway Newsstands, Stinson ‘For The Road’, Parmalat Canada and Ontario Lottery and Gaming.
The event drew the attention of politicians throughout the country:
Thanks to all the local convenience store owners and staff for their hard work day and long hours, in and day out. Today, on #CStoreDay, convenience stores are raising money for @childrens_wish. Best wishes to everyone!

When we celebrate #CStoreDay, we celebrate hardworking small business owners at the heart of communities across Canada – and raise money for @childrens_wish, too. Thanks to Commercial Variety in Timmins for having us today. pic.twitter.com/JUcwvpn27W
