Minister of Health MPP Christine Elliott has decided to only allow convenience stores to sell three authorized vape flavours (tobacco, mint and menthol) going forward and only in the minimal strength that will drive our vape customers to the underground market or see them return to cigarette sales post consultation.
Retailers all over Ontario should be outraged with this decision as adult smokers who presently purchase cigarettes in a variety of strengths and formats should be allowed to make informed decisions to purchase any of the three levels of vape strengths in our stores in the approved flavours.
All retailers may contact their local MPPs, Premier Ford’s office and Minister of Small Business, MPP Prabmeet Sakaria, to express their concerns.
